I sew for two reasons: 1) to give myself a brain break from having to think about all the things I tend to think about when I’m not sewing and 2) to make stuff I could probably not otherwise justify purchasing. Or just to prove I can (okay, three reasons).
That’s how me making purses started. In September? October? I saw a bag I liked on a blog and said to myself, Self, you can make this, can’t you? CAN’T YOU? Because we have to have it.

So I made the bag. And then I made another bag. And then, for some silly reason, people liked the bags I’d made and wanted ones for themselves! And the rest, as they say, is history. And a few photographs to share with you.
